The Hands Behind Sunbox Club

Nada Medhat is the founder and creative director of Sunbox, a brand established in 2016, driven by her passion for handmade crafts and creative expression. With over 10 years of experience, she specializes in hand embroidery and its integration into contemporary product design. Her artistic journey includes attending a ceramics workshop with artist Reem Darwish and a punch needle workshop with artist Yoko, which enriched her understanding of materials, texture, and craftsmanship.

Salma Soliman is an artist and designer specializing in sustainable fashion and hand embroidery. An Art Education graduate, she has been exploring handmade crafts since 2019, shaping a creative path where traditional handcrafts meet modern artistic expression.
She refined her craftsmanship through a jewelry-making scholarship at the Azza Fahmy Foundation and the 'Mn Qomash’ grant for upcycling and tailoring, deepening her expertise in intricate detailing.
Her work focuses on transforming discarded fabrics into meaningful, wearable art, blending visual storytelling with a practical approach to sustainability.
